The accident circumstances were that our client, Claire Berry-Jones, was leading her horse along a grass verge in Warrington when a car came around the corner at excessive speed causing the horse to spook.
The horse knocked our client to the ground and trampled her. The driver did not stop. The accident was reported to the police but they were unable to trace the driver.
Our client sustained soft tissue injuries, increased headaches, concussion and developed a specific phobia relating to taking horses out on the road.
