Horsesolicitor win client £25,000 after horror accident
Horsesolicitor successfully got our client £25,000 in out of court settlement after her horse was severely injured in a car accident.
Louise Brown was horrified when a car drove into the rear of eight-year-old Irish draught/thoroughbred called Thomas. He suffered a cut artery and was bleeding heavily, and had ruptured two tendons.The vets said she’d never ride him again
Happily, Thomas is now in light work; hacking in walk, with the occasional trot, although he will never be able to be schooled or compete in dressage as they had before the accident.
Louise had about £12,000 in vets’ bills to meet and future costs were anticipated.
Despite the driver disputing liability, Louise instructed HorseSolicitor who achieved a settlement of £25,000 without the need to go to court.
