£10,560.20 for client injured whilst leading his horse on the road

Mr C, then aged 15, was leading his horse along a country road when the Defendant drove her vehicle into the horse.

The horse unfortunately had to be put down and Mr C suffered from a broken bone in the back of his right hand and psychological symptoms arising from the accident (which also affected his pre-existing autism spectrum disorder). This resulted in Mr C, who previously wanted to become a farrier, withdrawing from any activities involving horses and changing his friend group and career path.

It goes without saying that no amount of compensation can replace Mr C’s horse but, following the Defendant’s delayed admission of liability, HorseSolicitor were able to send Mr C to medical experts to document his injuries and ultimately obtain the right amount of compensation for his injuries and financial losses.
